just come back from ibiza.bloody great holiday but i got tempted to play the spanish bandits.how wrong was i.it was just a couple of euro with a mate.none of us can speak or read spanish so we were playing the thing blind.tried a couple then a couple more,no joy so we left it.well,we got a san miguel and went back on.banged in a few more euro but that was it.
all it kept going on about was uno, dos, tres - scorchio.
anyway...we lost a few quid but it was an experince, i'll not do again.
has anyone ever won much on these crazy bastardo's ??
if so, was it lucky ??
thanx for reading, look forward to having some reply's to read.

totally know what you mean mate. I went to spain last year and lost a few bob on these! they arn't very complicated are they? At least the ones i played weren't! Anyways, lost a few bob and on the second last day i wacked 3 euro's in one was the change from the drinks, and i got jackpot which was 80 euro's! Was really lucky i know but i wasnt complainin. It paid out in a load of shitty euro coins and i got some funny looks from the locals like it was their money!
I had one 120 euro jp while in spain last year
I was just totally lucky
Just think about this
If a few spanish lads were in your local playing a red or something and they did not have a clue, what would you be doing? - SHARKING
It happened to me, i lost about 30 euros in one and there were 2 guys watching me
They jumped straight on after so i left

You on about the usual Spanish lo-tech ones? They seem to be virtually all the same - 3 lower reels where you can get reel wins or 'Bono's' I think theyre called, IIRC. You collect the Bonos on the bottom reels and these can then be used for spins on the top reels that have five paylines. obviously the idea is you collect as many Bonos as you can, then switch to the top reels and have a crack at the five payline thing.
Like someone said, these seem to be progressive and I have seen people forcing them - saw one guy put over 300 euros through one once (200 quid) and he'd been playing it before we got there and was still playing as we left. Spoke to the bar owner later who said he had put around 500 euros through it - by chance, we then bumped into the player in another bar and he claimed that he had got over 300 euros back out of it, so they can obviously go for a fair streak!!
Have noticed higher tech machines are creeping in now though - on those machines I mentioned above, there is now a 'feature' (cant remember how its activated) where the top three reels are covered up and behind each one is a number - 20, 40, 60, 80 etc euros - you pick one of the reels and get whatever is behind. But I have also noticed just one or two machines cropping up similair to UK machines - not quite as advanced, but with a kind of 'theme' to them and a sort of feature board. No doubt in a few years they will have AWP's very similair to the english ones, as their machines develop.
I own a holiday rental firm renting houses in Spain, so I'm over a couple of times a year at least - hence me having done far too much research into spanish fruit machines!!!

I've played a rocket-themed game in San Antonio (Ibiza) with its' Bonos 'n' all ... didn't have a clue what was going on and it was far harder to get loose change to play them.
Anyone who knows San Antonio and the main harbour area from it's heyday may be aware of the bar at the bottom of the hill, in the so-called 'West End', was English-run and had an old Jolly Gems (Barcrest) in there.

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

Yep they seem to be way behind the times - although those machines with the Bonos can be fun at times - theyre virtually the same game as Red Hot 6's, with a slightly more boring casing. Plus, if you know one, you more or less know them all.
Didn't Barcrest launch something in Malaga not so long back? Not quite sure what game or type of machine it was, but if they are trying to break into the Spanish market then it might be that these machines won't be long off appearing in the Spanish bars.

Played one when it was still the old pesatos (spelling unsure)
managed a 10000 win once which was £40 quid but this just made me more intrigued lol
When it turned the euro's I had a good run once in Gran Canaria it was like a bingo card game you collected a certain amount of bonus to play the bingo game the more bonuses you collected the higher the win would be.
I got a full house in under 20 balls for 80 Euros and then the next go I completed the super card for another 60 Euros. as said by someone else the locals did not look happy.
that takes me back that was about 4 years ago now
