JPM NDU Deluxe Mk.II (System 80 c.1985)

Post by pearce_jj »

Evening all

Just wondering what a working JPM system-80 based Nudge Double Up Deluxe Mk.II would be worth.

I have one, which I have had working but has again failed, and I'm trying to decide whether to fix it again or just skip it. It seems to be converted from a Super Steppa, and it's not in great nick to be honest. Glasses are good, current 10p/50p S10 coin mechs, 5p/£1.50, with manual, coin bins etc.

Cheers!

Retro machines will be worth a lot soon. Keep it if you have the space. Does it still take 10p tokens ?

Hi Barry

Yes I still have a token S10 and also an old 50p electronic one. I was able to convert the tubes by simply lining them with cardboard, so it's all basically original.

It is now sitting in my warm and dry workshop but had sat in someone elses damp garage for years before I got it, so internally a lot of the steel is a bit rusty. Also the lamp holders are completely cracked up, I repaired them once using fibre glass but a couple have gone again. The old style metal spring clips are really strong!

I used to think like you, but many ebay sales recently have gone for rubbish money. Anyway, I might hold on to it, as ever it's just finding the time with family etc.

Cheers!
