hmmm I'm really not all that convinced by this machine as you guys seem to be...
It's certainly better than cash in the box by a mile, but it seems to play rather randomly, hence it's difficult to know whether its worth taking on, i.e. I have had it lose 35-mega streak on a 2, then go dead for the next £50 before giving a flat £35, wasn't up to much after and ended up reforcing which ended up about money back.
Have had a mixed bag of results on it in terms of profit/loss (most times were forces), a few good profits, a few big(ish) hits (£40-60 range)
Another annoying thing about it, is that the boards can cost £15+, which means checking if it is "happy" is costly, and even if its not, its rather difficult to tell whether its happy, as the board plays so randomly - its one of those - if full just play it out scenarios. One thing I have noticed is if the board gives bonus's its a good board, else its usually not!
Took the death or glory loads of times, its reasonable, often gives £10-20 features, never had a JP feature.

Agree there OB, the board costs can be horrendous - was getting nervous yesterday, after my first £20 in (which offered a good few boards) it went dead for the next £15 or so. It doesn't even like giving the bonuses very much - I guess that's because they all get you at least a nudge?
I don't rate it as anything worth going out the way to play, but at least it's something a bit different.
Would definitely be worth getting a full feature list with average pay-out amounts and such.

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
I got a Toggle features off a death or glory the other day....may have been pay rise? I got a tenner whih wasn't bad.
I will agree it can be random in that you can get a £16-£20 board followed by a dead 2nd hit board. They have to mix them up though i guess, otherwise it would be too obvious it was going to pay. same as BB/BTQ which do random £5 block board when flying. They key is the nudge wins i think. It only offers the bottom 3 wins from nudges when not playing too well, and £4.80+ when its cooked up.

What I'm saying is it can do a £20-35 board which loses then go dead for £30+, this is alot different to saying a machine can do 1/2 dead boards after a £30 offering. I've had £8 on nudge wins plenty when they have been miles of the mega, so I doubt your theory on nudge wins is a great sign of MS readiness.Mattb wrote:I got a Toggle features off a death or glory the other day....may have been pay rise? Mixing it up is another way of just saying RANDOM - which is not a good thing!
I agree with OB. Had my 1st force of this over the weekend. £4.80 nudge win 1st board and got a LES for £8 after £20 in. £30 in I got to the last square before MS and died & it then took around £40 off me without getting above £6. it eventually cost £100 to get a £90 MS. It then took £12 to get the next board which gave £20 off nudges on a 1 for £30 to actually give me some profit. I just didn't get any real feel of progression.

Are you ever happy with any machines ob :P
If it takes that long just rechase the bugger. I don't agree that if its offering £8 nudge wins its miles off - if its going to take a bit longer to go in, it'll more than likely roll bigger. Thyey don't offer more than green bars when dead - fact - so any nudge wins above that mean there is some juice in them. Gaz - you made profit yet still moan?! Like i said before, compare it to OTB wheree you would have probably lost £50, and its infinitely better!

Didn't mean to sound like I was moaning. Just my observation of it. It certainly is a better machine than OTB, and if i'm in a pub with it in I will play it but i'm not going to be going out of my way for 1 on the back of that.
The main problem being, I won £8 the landlord thinks I emptied the thing. A couple of sessions like that and we'll be getting barred for winning hardly anything.

yes its better than OTB I said that... typically matt imo you are overating this machine, which you seem to do with most machines it seems. I've had plenty of them offer green bars+ and be miles off, and even reforcing when they cost a load has not been profitable - YOU HAVE BEEN LUCKY thats it.Mattb wrote:Are you ever happy with any machines ob :P

hi mattbMattb wrote:You've just been lucky again there. Don't be surprised to see it lose on £30 or even £35. Can be random after this and die immediately. I was also hoping MS would use the notes, and have never take notoriety/notey boy and have no idea what theyre worth. Anyone?
i took notoriety red gives a shot on the notes hit £25 lmao....

[quote="Matt Vinyl"]Very true!
I'm only guessing, but are strikes 'progressive' like the Super Strikes on Games Media machines, whereby KO's are not progressive?
Might have a punt on this today, it's only across the road... ]
strikes on this (red), will remove the amounts below the one hit
dont no about blue
took 5 red strikes today £12
