MY non-player friend pointed out to me once, "your not good at fruit machines just coz u can stop a wheel at a certain point"deano8177 wrote:its easy to hit ne way. ne real player should have no props.
Bring able to hit something like that isn't really a skill. Give a person whose never touched a fruit machine b4 a fast cash, they probably could have a good go.
Skills obviously help on certain things dont get me wrong, and being able to hit something certainly shows experience. But sure as hell doesn't make you a good player.

Almost all the JPM machines had a feature which involved a skill of some description where the jackpot was obtainable. You really did have to be good at skills to make decent profits on them. Very seldom would you play a JPM and kill it sufficiently, without getting the skill feature somewhere along the line.
So if you were good at skills then it did make you a good player. Nowadays maybe not so, as you don't need to be good at skills to chase a Red or of course to yank a Cluedo.
