yeh guys but remember, as the top is likely to be £70 or £105 if red (which it was on the subject c first board), you might think it offering £35 indicates the board is happy enough to give the top too and thus worth the risk... not the case.

Lets just accept these machines are pure toilet duck. I'd rather get 5 strangers, a 6 chamber pistol and one bullet and have a game of russian roulette for some money. Might be more enjoyable!

Had what I think was an IM on a Money Magic 2day, started me with an extra life, and the cashpot soon went up to £35, but kept playing, I should really have hi loed the bonus to make everything red, including the Money Magic feature, but I've heard tales of it killing you whilst doing this, even so, should have tried considering I had the xtra life, turned down the big money feature and then a red £35 cash shot for the MM feature, which............went for a flat £35.. Next board, red super streak for a tenner, collect, home.

Based on my experience, I still say that these machines are 'not bad'. The important thing to remember is though, always collect that £35 shot if you are less than say £20 in. As a lot of examples above show, this is most certainly not a sign that you will get the red top streak that board if you continue.

Even collecting cashpots of £10+ doesn't overly affect the time it'll take to get a red top. Have frequently had £40+ in my bank before getting a top for the fantastic £70 / £105.

It's hard to explain here in words, but you 'can' milk these machines whilst still forcing.

As my route is currently almost devoid of Reds, these are the next best thing. Far too many DONDs (All 6 varieties, or however many there are now!) have infiltrated, and are in my experience, (again!) apart from when good (one) methods were available, complete pony. One exception, which is P5, however the number of those around my way currently remains on stony ground, in other words, none!

There's still a JJ near me, which is often good for a £70, and I find that these older ones play better than the newer ones. It's also important not to put Bucks Bunny and BTQ under the same umbrella as Warped / Gold Rush etc, as they are 'NOT' the same type of machine. BB and BTQ are not ones to collect average sums from and continue, they are forcers if showing from the off.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that these are the perfect machines out there (no machine is 'perfect') and I've taken a good few hits working 'em out, but am fairly confident that a profit can be made if starting from the right spot most times.

;)
