Theodore Bullfrog was playing at relatively acceptable speed when I was last in there. It does however have the very recent green backdrop with games arranged in a grid.
I agree INCA could only ascribe his best scores, but I think on the relevant machine there was a clutch of scores in the 70 to 90 range, few of which had the default REV ascription (in fact, most were mine). So I suspect that INCA probably had, at least on that machine, only one go. On GIAW, there were no scores north of 11k and INCA's 51k, which implies (to me) that he'd had one go and bagged the ten. Very nice work.
hmm; cant we just do a weatherspoons instead? a lot easier to walk in and out of without people thinking you are some kinda weird spot the difference addict!
at risk of going even further off-topic: a mate of mine is convinced that this is a lesbian bar but nobody realises it. but i'll second Grecian, it is a ghastly pub
I consider myself pretty good at ItBox soccer quiz....what would you say is a good score? It's pretty hit and miss i find...sometimes you can get 15,000 pounts for £4, other times get 25,000 for nothing. I actually can't remember what my top score is either, possibly something in the 40-60,000 range?
"Sixty percent of the time, it works, every time!"

Went down there last night and put a few scores on, the top one of which should be quite difficult to beat
excellent]
The screen is perfect, no reflections either (at least at night).
I know what you mean about badly calibrated screens, it only has to be slightly off to make some of the later levels very difficult indeed (i.e. the ones with very small differences such as the wheels or spiders web), I find Indie's and older paragon 3's to be particuarly bad for this.

My best two scores are 72000 and 71000. But anything over 40k is pretty good and uncommon (in London anyway).
You're right, sometimes it forces money on you - other times the quid is nowhere to be seen. I've JPed a few games but never won more than 5 or 6 quid on a single game of Itbox Soccer.
