DOND no questions.

Post by Dunhamzzz »

I shit you not 6 minutes of constant play and it did not give me that 40p.

Hmm..... These things should have the notices on that fruit m/cs have. "this machine may offer a gamble where the player has no chance of success"

out of interest has anybody persevered with this and got to the endgame?
does it play like DOND with added questions? or is it (Heaven forfend) straight.
nobody ever wins on those things.

I have to admit this is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. Yes, the game is rigged, but equally, you have a decentish chance of getting to the end game if you know the boxes. I'd estimate perhaps 25-30% of times I've played I've got to the end game. I've never won more than a fiver or less than a couple of quid, but I'd say I'm still up on it.

I'm with the Cardinal on this one. One £2 win, a couple of £3 wins and a fiver. Definitely up on this. Super Skill Ball Bingo returns. NO skulls, but that £6.50 can be annoying. Then there's the proverbial ten years for no good box. Guilty pleasure indeed until it goes all flat and 'orrible.

I'm with Mr Poos too!

One slight hint for you. When you run out of time you can actually keep rejecting boxes for a few seconds although you can't accept them. When you find yourself running out of time (i.e. <5 seconds left) and you know you're not going to win, keep hammering the reject and note if the cash amount(s) you need come(s) out. If they do, it's worth another game. If they don't, it's not.

Had another game last night.

It gave me my last 3 boxes by collecting lots of ? The end game knocked out a lot of the low values early on, and the £20 win was still there going into the last few boxes. It offered me £6.70 (Which it would never do in the questions version) which I took... it then revealed a 10p in my box.

Anyone won more than this?

Had £7.00 in box once. Think it was £7 & £5 left. So no deal on £6. Not had any chance of more. £20 and £10 don't seem to hang around long. Liki on question game.

Quiz machines are more scandalous then fruitmachines when it comes to offering a dodgey choice/gamble and DOND seems to make it even more obvious.

Points to qualify: 13k for prize round, eliminate all blue boxes apart from 1(cant remember what it was, wasnt 250k or 100k tho) when it comes to offer....11.5k......

Try and picture what that looked like..... more values OVER 13k then under, and it offered just less enough that I would have to push on.

Me and a mate have become slightly (VERY?) addicted to this game and the most we've won in £8. I've had the £20 left until the second from last box, but never actually won it.

So yeah, £8. Not bad for one practice go and then really concentrating. Put the £8 straight into a fruit machine, but what the hell...

My only problem with this is people distracting me. I've noticed that with this particular game my senses seem to go into overdrive and if people are talking or even walking by I get put off. The main thing is to sort out the 7s...ie 70p is a no-n0 but seven fifty and seven pounds are ok. the rest is plain sailing. I wouldn't like to play drunk though!

Seven fifty is not OK.

I always have a cheeky 50p on this on the off chance and it often throws me in the end first go. Got down to £10 and £20 left a few days ago.

Offer £13.50, gambled .............
