£2.50 in to win an average £4. well done, (and I mean that), but winning games take four to five minutes. Even if losing games average out at three to four minutes, (given Matt's standard), you'd make about £2 to £3 an hour. The guy behind the bar works for ........ :?

Heh, agreed, it's not a real money-spinner! Although I enjoy playing the game, and the sub-games give a bit more flavour to it, even if by now they are pretty much 'gimmes' when they do pop up. ;)
It is more consistent than something like DOND, where the target can vary from 18000 up to 60k+ from game to game.

Just had the harshest game ever.

Target was 6000 with one try again. During the game I got 2 building costs on consecutive goes, is this a first?

I got to about 4500 and then spectacularly guess 4 year spoiler questions in a row. I'm now on about 5500 and I get another try again and answer a few more questions to get to 5900 ish then land on a chance and get 2 more try agains giving me 4 in total. Cue me looking smug and thinking how awesome I am.

Then the game puts me on community chest and fines me, then a chance and a fine, followed by super tax followed by income tax followed by another chance/community chest fine. I then lose my 4 try agains on the next two questions and start thinking I've babbed it up. But no, I answer two spoiler questions to creep over the line at 6010 points.

Guess what I got in the end game...

yep in my experience if you blag your way through to the end game by guessing quite a few spoilers then it stiffs you anyway by giving 50p although presumably it offered you higher (a £ no doubt)

Spot on. One nugget was offered to me at the end.

Unlike most people on here I seem to be getting stiffed on the end game. I average about £1.50 I'd say. Most I've had is £4 though I have won the £6 cashpot. I win lots of 50p's

Same here, Dangerous. £1-£1.50's probably my average. Best is probably £4.50 or maybe £5 at a pinch.

sounds to me like the machines in your area are being overplayed by good players. however, one positive is that at least the game is not programmed to clam up after offering a win until it has replenished its coffers. many of the other games will make even £1 unwinnable after coughing up.

i've now had two cashpot £10s, several £4s and £5s one £7.50 and an undisproportionate number of 50pees. i am not rich uncle pennybags but by and large, it pays for my beer.

Played this one in a Brewer's Fayre in Stirling yesterday. Being generous it gave us the go game twice for 920 points each time and on a free parking run it lit up hotels on Mayfair and Park lane. 2 shots later and we were on Mayfair for a crapload of points and the end game.

We only had about 9 properties, but two of them were Mayfair and Park Lane. We also had old kent road. Picked 3 and if offered a £1.

Before I let the mrs select the win, I told her that per the general chat on here, we were going to get 50p. And I wasnt let down. Our 3 picks? £20, £15 and 50p. And the mrs thought that we'd been deparately unlucky.

Was about to go in a bit of a mood until our next game when we got free parking on our third shot and it went 5-10-10-10 for the stations and £14.

Gave the mrs half and told her to buy herself something nice.

A favour to ask anyone who can be bothered though is that if they get to the end game with JP in play can they video it on their phone? There's always a chance it might come in and i'd love to see and JP sequence if there is one.

i've recorded a couple of endgames on my phone but nothing spectacular so far. i doubt there is a special JP sequence and i also doubt whether, in the wild, it will ever pay out on mayfair
