I think the sound was turned down... it was playing not-too-well. Was considering leaving it when it started backing. A £15 in my box later, I gave it one more board. The next 3 boards were all IMs, and the final board I did gave another 10er. So all in all, a good day's work - if you could call it that.
It was in Bowie's pub as well, hopefully he didn't fire any money into it last night.
I'm always a bit wary about playing a p5 - if it has just been rechipped, surely it will be playing like a sack of cack in order to make up its percentage?
Incidentally, there's still an unchipped p5 in Glasgow if anyone wants its location. Can't believe it's not been removed, as it's in a very noticeable place and gets a lot of play. I've played it a few times, but it's a risky business firing in 20+ notes in the hope of getting a decent value in your box!

Sounds like you caught the 'random' streak - although if it started backing, it may well have been 'due'.
There's only one P5 left around this way, and the other machine alongside it is a complete waste of time, so I tend to not venture to it.

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."

I'm doing the full on these, got one left in a busy arcade (125), I've reached the point where I'm taking whatever it's got in every day now(60-125), it's been going far too long, I'm treating everyday like it's my last.
Can't believe the "non players" are still playing it after the state it ends up in.
