committed credit

Post by tommychan »

Had my first play on one of the aforementioned a few days ago, was a Quid Vicious as mentioned in another thread matt v said he's played one and it does like throwing red hot picker off bonuses.

Although I don't think i'll have too much problem with it as i mainly just play machines for fun and dont particularly care if i lose 50 quid if i have a prolonged amount of entertainment out of it, i think addicts will.

The committed credit made it too easy for the famous "one last pound". Instead of having to collect the cash and manually put it back in a quick button press ensures your winnings will reduce nice and quickly.

On the upside that would make forcing much easy with no need to manually recycle 35's etc however I think it's bad news for anyone with no self control, can definatley forsee some stories of getting MS then wanking it all away again swapping it from bank to credit.

Anyhoo, don't no if anyone can give me a hand have come across some old 25 jackpots in a place where they get topped up by tourists daily. Just wondered if anyone had any tips for the following:

Pony express
Subbuteo
Top gear, the one with "mini mania"
Some jack in the beanstack type with supertrail on bean stalk up the middle.
A mouse themed one. ?mousetrap? with 3 mice on view for board, 3 in middle for super, 3 blocks of cheese for super shots. (and it isn't the big cheese)

cheers

Well, they are old m/cs u mentioned there!

I agree the commited credit thing is handy but sickening for people who will get carried away easily.

I also think its sick how s16s (or whatever section they are now, anyone?) transfer £10 over, just wrong.

Subbuteo

Post by mattyboy »

Subbuteo has a nice £75 in it. A bit similar to Pick your Peso's. Shouldn't have a note changer on it so if full and offering over £5 I would force it out. Usually get 2 or 3 red IM's for 50 / 75

Block from £10 is quite tough expect it to lose 4 - 8 times before going through

Used to quite like these

Brings back very fond memories. For a while, the boozer on the seafront near me, and a hotel next to it both had good Vamp it Ups and Bubble & Squeaks. Four machines, 5 minutes walk, usually averaged 100 profit every day.

Yes, it was cash gambler off the barcode, and play next board to see if everything went "Super Duper" from a bonus. Loved to do 75/100 streaks. What a great machine.

out of curiosity, did you ever get that gamble to win ? I popped it a few times just for testing purposes (who knows, could have been a free win hiding), but never succeeded.
