people takin the mick
Well ever since joining in April I've not come across anyone who says something out of line unless they're obviously a cock!
You've got your short but sweet posts from
Jeff Vickers
Your informative but sometimes sharp tongued
The Oak
The absolute weird but funny as F*ck
Streakypoos
The in depth responses from
Mr Red
PMK
Matt B & V
The blast from the pasts from
MJD
In fact I've not really seen anyone get any sh*t that they didn't deserve. Either typing in CAPS or txt is just asking for trouble, it shows how lazy the person is.
The only exception to this of course is the infamous Lukestar and his several Aliases.
P.S sorry if I've missed any important names off the list but i'm trying to cook tea :P

Yes you do! It's a tough choice: be stuck in a mucky warehouse, or sat in a field on a sunny day with a ham salad sarny, a can of beer, and a view like that.mjd wrote:Im one of the top posters here, and I get the pissed ripped a few times... I make up for it with my pictures though..

Where was this taken BTW, and what camera do you use?

I'm usually one to dig people up about their poor grammar, spelling, punctation or prose. However, I'm not doing it just to be a dick. All these things don't matter if you can get your point across without the reader having to perform mental gymnastics.Nero wrote:I am quite amused by people complaining about poor usage of spelling and grammar, whilst typing in half-arsed English and using grammatically bankrupt sentences.
What really irks me is people who come on here seeking advice (which in itself there is nothing wrong with) but yet can't be bothered to take the few extra seconds it would take to make their post legible.
Textspeak is another bug-bear of mine. It's fine for when sending a text message, because of the 160 character limit. However, that is not an issue here. I would argue that by the time you've figured out what word you want to say in its shortened form, you'd have been as quick typing out the full word anyway. And maybe I'm showing my age here, but I find it takes a long time to decipher words without vowels - I'm sure I'm not the only one!

The Oakkeep to the point, people rambling annoys me, everything in life should be bullet pointed to make it easy to read.
...Except streaky poos, his ramblings are ok in my book.
I read this and thought it said "That's pretty much me to a TREE"

I enjoy a good ramble (er, in the context that we are talking about here, of course!), nothing worse than seeing that someone has replied to a post that you know is extensive, and they've just written "Yeah...".
LOL!
But then if we were all the same it would be one hell of a boring place...

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
