Lost my discipline last night.
Theres a pub a I go each week that has Invincible/Lucky Devil/Warped In.
Been going in for the last 8 weeks almost everytime dropping 1 or the other reds or even both sometimes and ignoring the warped.
Last night dropped a £70 top follwed by a £20 SS on Invincible for just £40 in. Somebody was on LD so though F*ck it i'm gonna have warped.
Backing off the 1st quid (doubtfull it's a refill as my winnings left Invincible Red "X" on the notey)
What a pile of crap that machine is. The top cashpot hardly ever offers anything above £5. Knocked back loads of Red £4 & £5 repeaters. After about £30 in it finally offered £17 in the cashpot then just went dead again. another £30 in and i got the ? 1st move, survive but couldn't get the warped red so took the normal for a flat £35 then it just went dead again. Recycled the £35 taking wins and some of the things are just shocking.
Red Superstreak = £7 (I had a normal SS after that did £9)
Red rise ? (Reel roulette) = 50p
End result lost all me winnings from invincible in it. I'm still angry at myself now for playing it.

This machines nowhere near as good as JTRAR or JJ and I only play it for quick wins, even though I've seen nice streaks (theres a £105 streak on youtube
).
Warped was in my local and it played better on 10p spin, it wasn't shy on giving big wins and 30p/50p play took £7-£10 per board. This has been replaced by Carribbean Cash which is worse unless there is a SSS trick for it, although I did see it give £35 from second cash shot, with no afters, of course.

One of the lesser known aspects of the new gambling law brought into effect today (1st September 2007) concerns the "manipulation of AWPs to gain an unfair advantage". These are more commonly referred to as "emptiers", although some manipulators do not actually empty the machine entirely.
"Emptiers" are not being outlawed completely, rather the Government wants to set-up a cross-party committee examining the implications that these "emptiers" have on the gaming community. This committee will be chaired by Labour MP, Mrs Jacqueline Potts:

Any new emptiers must first be ratified by the new regulatory body OFFRUIT. Detailed descriptions must be given on every step involved in the emptying process. Application forms can be obtained from HMSO bookshops - http://www.tso.co.uk - or alternatively you can send the details to me, and I'll pass them on to the relevant authorities.Jackie Potts wrote:This government is committed to eradicating all forms of percentage manipulation in fruit machines as part of its election manifesto.
