There used to be one in the basement at Hamleys. Haven't been for a while, so I'm not sure if it's still there.

I quizzed around the King's Cross/Euston area today. Every pub seemed to have a machine.

Unfortunately I didn't enjoy my session too much. Too many Itboxes - I am really beginning to hate these. Each game pays £1 or £2 (max) and by the time you've gone round the set of games on offer and determined that they are not paying today you end up actually losing money.

I was kippered by 1 vs 100 (spoilers at 1 vs 50), DOND (60000 to enter cash game), new Monopoly (spoilers when you're about to get to the cash game) and so on.

Deals on Wheels - I used to think this was promising but when it starts asking starsigns of celebrities and the year certain obscure films were released before you even have a sniff of 50p I just can't be arsed to humour the bloody thing.

The main problem with the Itbox is the number of games on offer. If like me you want to test the water of each game you can find yourself a fiver down within half an hour if things aren't going your way.

Best payer today was Trivia for Dummies. It also has some great music.

Can't think of too many Itboxes round there to be honest. O'Neill's, the Fuller's and the station pub have non-itboxes. So does the rocket.

Anyway you need to specialise. I've got two/three games which I reckon I'm the best at in the country and am therefore good for three or four quid on my first game of each. Those skills come in handy on similar games like Hex, Cryptic Clues, Stand & Deliver & that bottle/island game on Paragon (which almost makes the thing worth playing.)

Very interesting.

Looked up my hometown (Falkirk) and it told me that my local branch of MacDonalds has an It-box.... funny I never noticed it, maybe it's in the kiddies' play area.

i had a similar epiphany to His Eminence; i didn't realise that the local junkies were playing itbox on my the BT payphone outside work

its a list of cloud wifi access points, like i said further up. as every itbox has a Cisco Wifi Access point built it we offer the cloud. but so do most McDonalds, as do some Texaco Petrol stations (Fun when you think you cant use your mobile but booting up that WiFI Dell Laptop complete with self detonating battery is ok)

this list is all very well but i'd prefer to see a list of where there are paragons/ind:es but that is a very niggardly thing for me to say on friday afternoon.

At risk of sounding even more niggardly than UP, as someone who's used that list (or the old Cloud postcode search) a number of times over the past eighteen months, it's a pity it's now been posted on here (even though it was fairly easy to find)!
