How long would you wait?

Post by greenbelter »

If you've dropped a £70 top how long would you wait before heading back. I did one on Monday night and i'm off to the same pub tonight and was wondering if it will have had enough chance to give anything.

Mind you if I win my mates will only drink my winnings.

Depends how busy the pub is?
I always give Jailbirds a Week break .If you start getting greedy on 1 machine it'll soon have you over 1 day.
Theres alot of things you need to think about.
1. How busy will the pub have been since monday
2. What time did you do it on monday? If it was last thing then it's only had yesterday to take money.
3. Is it the only machine in the pub ? Therefore being filled up quicker than if there was 2 machines to choose from.
4. What machine is it. If it is Jailbirds I'd say It needs a fair bit put through it before it'll do another £70 top for good profit as people can collect on ?'s which sets the machine back

i don't often go in the pub so just thought since i'm there but I'll leave it
wouldn't want to get greedy and you're right it could do me over. I'll head back sometime.

It was Monday pm so I'll go back perhaps this weekend.

I have a vortex that can be ready every 2/3 days
Once i had it twice in one day

Took £105 (£35/£70) at 10 in the morning
BY chance i was back in at 10 at night for a few drinks and decided to key it
Only £3 off
Cost me £40 for a £70

No one can ever tell you when something will be ready again

Also had a £105 top from SMTM last friday at 7 in the evening
Went back sunday 11 in the morning dropping first pound and they definately do not refill
Had it again for £35/£35

The first time yes red first board

Second time no
But i had left it £80ish off, so it had took a lot of money and at least 1 or 2 notes i am pretty sure would have gone in
Was Red after about £20

There are two bars near me that refill (via key) during the day on saturdays ... sneaky
Guess it's alright if you know refill patterns but be careful

Very very unlucky if you have pubs/bars filling through the day
The pub in question is without question :P busy enough for it to have been pumped
No need to be carefull i would have lost £40/£50 pound at most
Hardly gonna make me bankrupt

I am fortunate enough to have had a £105 top from the same Gold Rush twice this week; first one on Monday lunchtime and again after work this evening (Thursday).

The pub in question is a fairly central London pub with 3 machines, all of which get played heavily 7 days a week.

Some machines in very busy, affluent areas recoup their losses rapidly - others can take seemingly forever.
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
