Barcrest - Home of the £5 boards

Post by Oli »

Obviously there are some crests which can suck £10+ for a board, the new Take Your Pick to name one. However, as you should know, most other crests like to give boards fairly regularly.

But what is the most that you have ever payed for a board? I was on the Big Brother simulation which i coded myself obviously for my own use and enjoyment only and was certainly not using the emulator as that is highly illegal. Managed to go through £14.50 without a baord!

So, what's the most you have ever payed?

On 'picking' Vamps £15/16 was common if you lost a let 'em spin. I guess it could happen if you played any battered Barcrest. I took a pasting on a Space Raiders once, two shit boards for £21. It was one where you could gamble the hazards.

Paid £13 on a VIU too

Yeah, which is why i hate ripping SH from Wobblers. i'd say 90% of the time they don't roll from it anyway. Say you put in £10-£15 to get the £25, check the board after for £9 and its a £2-er, you make sod all. Rubbish! :?

Yeah but what if it is streaking? You have to get a board after a jp on wobblers just in case in 5 nudges on even better flashes. I know they take the piss for boards but you have to ckeck them.
