huge take from king ker ching

A mate of mine was playing this today in the arcade, it was offering 8 pound from the off, no word of a lie 300 pounds to get king streak, went for 50, apparently these go on a huge take in there cycle every so often, but after he got his first king streak it just went off its tits he had jp repeat twice, loads of 4 -5 strikes, its a knockout twice, high low silvers.it just went mental giving boards every three quid. any way to cut a long story short after being refilled twice he got 280 back from the 300, what a streak, i had heard of it going off its tits but never seen it.

any one seen heard or experienced it ?

Yeah i have held the mega spin button before and 30 quid just went straight through it without a hold.

@ Toothless - yep, this was a well known scenario - shoddy programming at best, a complete balls-up at worst.

300 sounds a bit off.....i've had to do about 130 through the one here before it rolled once. Once it blocks that much its almost a guaranteed ton back though. Seems only arcade set ones do this though, pub set ones just go flat and don't block!

On one of the clones, Hot Spot (I think) there's been some horror stories of that sort of thing. It happened to my mate, I think £40 without a spin, and he complained. Leisure Link apparently acknowledged the fault but said they weren't going to refund it.

As for £300 before the Streak, all I can say is: Ah, arcade mode. That's horrific. These do have a massive streak in them, like over £100 but I've not heard of one taking even half of that amount to start rolling. That's just sick.
