That never worked this time out, but thats ok, because I was watching Kevin Darley (Spanish Ace - Was confident) and Liam Jones also (Desert opal - WOW!).

Durcan hasn't won for Agggggeeessssss.. Must be landing one soon, he is riding for Mick Channon too.

IMO Kerrin McEvoy will win a lot of big races this year.

Total noob horse racing question i know..

But what percentage of horse racing is how good the horse is and what percentage is how good the jockey is.

I was always under the impression that it was the horse that mattered and as long as the jockey was competent then that was all that was needed.

Regards.

I think most of it is down to the horse, but it still needs to be ridden properly, eg produced at the right time, and positioned well, and then rallied etc..

The best jockeys get the best rides, eg Jamie Spencer. I tend to follow the jockeys now instead of the horses, Because if Jamie Spencer goes a week without winning a race, Get on his rides!

ps - I wonder if Frankie will........................
