Long old sunday....

Post by Mattb »

Had a stupidly long session out today without meaning to. Ended up a good day at the finish, but could have been a fantastic one.

Started off nice enough....

£10 off Bling n Queen
£9 off Spin When Your Winning
£8 off Sub Zero
£34 from Pulsation (£80 top....nice 8) )
£30 from Jailbirds
£19 from JTRAR
£9 from DOND
£9 from Lucky Devil
£6 from Space Raiders
£12 from King Ker-Ching

A good £100+ up, and i'd only forced 2 machines (Pulsation/Jailbirds). Then things got a bit nasty....

Found my trusty Rocket Money genuinely full and all red to start with. Only £15 in to get a top, which did a flat £25. Great.....still showing though so i went for it again. To cut a long story short, it carried on giving flat £25s and not dieing, so i kept reforcing it. On the 5th £25, it finally went in next board for a £50. 5 x £25s, and 1 x £50. £175 in total, yet i was £45 down at the end of it :x Disgusting.

Went next door to another non-refill pub. Invincible was also full. First board was about 2/3 red, and offered a red toggle. Forced it.....£60 in for a flat £25. Still red, reforced it. £15 more in for another flat £25. Still red after, went for a final reforce...£45 more in for yet another £25. Then cleared it up with milks, but again ended up another £40 odd down.

My good day was almost ruined by two full and red machines losing me £80!! Grrr. Luckily i had CCP to come, which was ready as per, and made me £60 profit back. Wandered down to another non refill pub wiht bling bling, and smacked that for 4 £25s, yielding a good £40 more profit. Lost £4 forcing DNA, but potted Trailblazer first pound after. Got a trail run which just scooted on to all the nudge squares for 1million nudges 8) . Called it a day after that (11am-5pm!) and finished £140ish up. Could have been a quality £200+ day had it not been for those 2 reds!! :x

Always worth a board! :D

SWYW was starting with 2 steps, so that was blatantly ready. KKC isn't a bad machine (easy as hell to read). I always play JTRAR/MM etc for a board or two, as well as DOND in the hope it offers a DOND game like it did today. Managed to prise in Streak It Up which got Super Streak for £14. Usually just limit myself to 1 board and hope it throws something nice. Not usually any harm donw, and sometimes like today gives pleasant results!

lol, yeh I suppose I often think like this, although JTRAR/money magic can end up in tears even if it is happy...

DOND can take £8+ for boards, which on offering £2 adds up eventually - and then often when they do give a superboard you end up with fuck all and get involved playing it for a good superboard!

KKC yeh easy as hell to read, but its always £2/3 boarding as munters always milk all the value, even if its £4/5 its a dodgy force, especially on low percentages

£5 is a no-no for KKC.....has to be £8-£10 ready to consider a chase, as with all these maygays. I agree though, munters ruin them when they see a £5/£6 shot and take it. Hard to get ready, but occasionally they can surprise you. The JITC in the bowl here is usually quite ready, plenty of pikeys do their brains in it over the weekend!

I found KKC to be quite good. Can definately be forced with confidence.

JTRAR
I wouldn't say this, along with it's various clones / guises was completely tripe, unless you get caught in a painful force (a very silly thing to do IMO!) If you can get a board in the first £2 or so, you should be able to get at least £4 / £5 back. If not though, walk away & stay away... :)

Pity that most of the features, even when super are a pile of dodgy do-do...

:)

(Pops head around door) I agree! and even if forcing they are pretty reliable for a £75 return.

DOND WIYB - I got my first "streak" on this the other day.Was only playing a couple of quid in and it just chucked a £10 win in from nowhere. This automatically entered the game for me and boosted the cash straight up to £25 red with three red telephones lit.Went higher than a 1 and it auotcollected the mega streak - £25 Flat. About £3 later it did exactly the same thing again.

I was a bit upset cos I want the "Go all the Way" cos i've never had it on any bellfruit!<laugh>but it defo didn;t say it on the screen (Even though the three red flashing phones was blatant)

Rocket Money- played that for the first time yesterday - about £30 in collecting red features and cash, got it up to £62 and just left it, Space Raiders! Argghh!!! very costly force, was fllowing a mate who had just had Mega Streak and decided to leave it, I jumped on looking for the next pot and it ended up costing me about £60 for a Mega streak and then luckily a jackpot next board after.

On another note I collected some cash out of an invincible only to find out there was a liquid deposit in the tray! not nice! was only coke i think but it really made a mess of the coins and ultimatley fucked the mech on the m/c. :)

Has a similar experiance yesterday. Invincible showed after £20 in. Then proceeded to take the best part of £145 off me, recycling 7 flat £25's along the way  .

I was just losing the will to live when it finally repeated for a £50, then a couple of quid later did a £75. So £120 back from £145 in and an hour and a half of time wasted! Give up after that and went home, was still £130 up overall so not too bad.

Also on DOND BTB, pound in, a few times round the board and landed on second ? so took Cash or Bust or what ever it is called, watched the bottom expecting it to land on lose when it said box win on the display, yes I thought until i looked up and saw it had landed on 1p, 1 fookin p.

"If you can get a board in the first £2 or so, you should be able to get at least £4 / £5 back."

The boards often cost £4/5 ( often losing the turbo gamble a few times in the process ) and offer £2!!! So its really more the other way around!

You're right OB, but luck has to be on your side sometimes! ;) I'd still leave it after that first board, unless something bizarre happened...
