Yep, it is the Minder theme tune - sung by Dennis Waterman and more recently mimicked in the Little Britain sketch.

OK - back to the fruit machines in the pub in Shameless:

The episode shown on E4 on Tuesday (which will go out on C4 next week) featured two characters having an argument - one was playing the fruit on the left hand side and the camera got a pretty good close-up.

The machine is in a new Horizon (bubble) cabinet, has a Barcrest logo at the top, the cabinet is dark blue/purple, and I've never seen it before. It definitely had a lapper in the middle of the board and a cash and feature stack on either side, plus what looked like some sort of superboard at the top. Any ideas?

The machine on the right is also in a Horizon cabinet and has a Maygay logo at the top - I'm still convinced it's a clone of Hot Shot. Can't remember what they called it, though.

There's a great scene in this weeks shameless with a fruit machine, some guy wins the jp then Paddy Mcguire goes up to him...

Paddy - 'Take your winnings and fuck off'
Boy - 'But i've got a repeat chance??!'
Paddy - 'You've also got a chance to keep your kneecaps!'

The boy goes and Paddy takes his repeat and wins.
:D
Brilliant.

The machine is Hippy Hippy Sheik by barcrest
I posted on it a while back
i had one on test and played it 5 times
Never got below a £50 from top feature and twice got 2 £50's one after the other
All the times it was from IM
Very good m/c played really well
Think it must have failed test
