In consecutive games (EWQ, Reaps):
TRANQUILLIZING 700 ---> 1690ish non-clearance
QUIZZICALITY 660 ---> high non-clearance
QUANTIZATION 444 ---> high non-clearance
Last outing:
ZILLIONAIRES + EMBEZZLE ---> 1684 non-clearance

We got several decent clearances, and several nice words, but not simultaneously. Poo.

good news Ernest and thanks for adding my latest scores too. (i feel silly sending a pm which just says 'ta'). is reaps a new Bobbng protégé or a recycled one?

could have been some whopping scores there if the clearance had have been on.

Reaps is part of the original double-act before we signed Bob on a free transfer from Colchester United reserves.

We were focusing on trying to force a big score by bagging a big word if the grid looked dense enough, but couldn't quite hack out the filth.

TOKOLOSHE made a promising debut with 2065 at the carlisle arms in soho yesterday. with the paragon wordlist, if you please. it featured LIQUIDATION and RELOCATIONS. the warm-up was APPARITIONS at the white hart.

interesting thing the tokoloshe: a gremlin kinda fella with one leg, one arm and predilections for sour milk and raping women while they sleep.

(edit) oh and it can turn itself invisible if it eats a pebble.

it was also a truly phenomenal play once in that runt of wordgames.
somebody held EKLOOOT and played it through an existing SH on the board.

Scored my debut QUIZZICALITY today in Esquire House - took a while to get the QUIZZI- bit together and there were hardly any other timed letters on the grid so in the end the 660 made up more than half my total score!

Got a 1697 non-clearance today - shuffled to clear with (hopefully) MIL, but was not to be...

In any case, 1956, 1978 and a 1984 saw off the non-existent competition in for-once-a-nice-place-to-Bob Canterbury.

in other news, i realise that an 11 scoring 308 wouldn't normally merit national celebration but this one does.
the top scoring word is functional but the second is epoch-making.

Magnifique UP - maybe it's time some of these interesting trivia lists that made an appearance a couple of months ago, such as the 'top words A-Z' and the 'who has made the most different website-qualifying words', were updated and brought back...

agreed. and also agreed with Ernest that it was good of you to volunteer and that we have found the right (wo)man for the job.

when i totted up the unique word entries it only took less than an hour. unfo' i won't have the free time to do that now until feb. but when i did it the scores for unique 11+es were as follows. if you'd care to update then please do.
