Nah, like i said I am making efforts. she has my cash card now, so i physcially CANT play fruit machines during the day now, certainly not for more than the £10 I bring to work, and I wanna eat with that! Proper cold turkey style, this is only my second day at the moment, but for now at least, no remote problems!

It is well worth trying to give up... :)

You will begin to appreciate other things in the world and have a healthier life style too. :D

I mean let's face it - fruities are detrimental to your social life! :o

Good Luck theoak! :P

Its the age-old teaser.....but if gambling is affecting ur way ov life in a detrimental way then its a problem, try to eliminate problems in the bud. so i'd say leave the bandits alone. what are u losing. no-1 makes a living from em part from sum pro's. its entertainment. all we have on our sides is experience we know the signs and expected outcomes which is why i leave these fukkin s16's alone. i will sumtimes put 20 bar in but only out of my profit becoz i have chased and been done like an old whore. FUCK THE BANDITS....LONG TERM LOSS PROBABLE FOR MOST

you could try the old Greg Raymer approach, set aside an agreed 'bankroll' with your other half, and quit if that ever runs out. Must be easier said than done though.

In the past if I seriously wanted to quit I would almost deliberately blow an amount I was unhappy about losing in 1 session say £50+ (£15 JP era) that would keep me away for a couple of years. Expensive short term, but better than being a £10 recycling munter everytime i went out for a drink :|
