HELP Barcrest fruit machine fault/ problem PLEASE HELP

hi everyone, i have a Barcrest Fun In The Sun fruit machine. was working fine... went in the bath then came back and it had froze! so turned it off then tried turning it back on but nothing.... i have the 4 green lights on the mpu5 and the green lights on the other boards, also the little counter above the coin slot is on but will not work! no lights no wheels spinning nothing. can anyone please help me with what could cause this please, i would be very grateful! thanks nick.

If it froze you probably need to turn on your central heating.




JG edit: grrrr that's the sort of thing I'd post and then you'd berate me for posting it!

I would help if I could mate. All I know is you used to be able to empty them but forgot how! Something to do with nudge gambles I think! Filling in some fruit pot or something?!

if the green led next to the red led is not flashing, then the mpu5 is not running.

this is the status led, it has the ability to flash red and green and does so to convey error codes when the mpu5 is unable to start properly.

switch it off and on and watch that led, if it flashes at all, count them and post what u get.

for instance, 3 green 1 red or 4 green 2 red etc etc...

ok, i have ordered an new mpu5 and gamecard already. whats the proms?

proms are the large chips on the gamecard.the gamecard also needs to be programmed with the specific game otherwise it is useless
