More infamous than famous, but i know michael 'lotto lout' carroll, and have done for many years, i first met him through a mate just before he went to prison, but when he came out after that stretch he bought a lottery ticket and the rest is history i guess, he is a nice bloke deep down, but acts a bit of a dick most of the time as well, always has and always will be the same, money or no money.

I also spoke to clarkson over my garden fence about 7 years or so ago as he randomly pulled in and did one of his pieces to camera in a farm gateway next to a big barn about 10 yard away from my mum and dads place, and all i could think to say to him was 'alright jeremy' he said 'yes very well, and you' and i replied 'yeah fine thanks' and that was it.

I should have at least offered him a cuppa or asked for an autograph but i didn't think.

I saw gary bushell, who used to write for the sun newspaper, coming out of a toilet in corley ash services around that sort of time as well, we were going on holiday.

I was also mates with a girl at school who went on to be on the late night *ahem* tv show babe station.

My cousins are very lucky with who they know too, my cousin lynette was mates with myleene klass of hearsay and the jungle at college and they still meet up now and again, and my other cousin franchesca (her sister) went to school and is mates with hannah spearitt formally of s club 7, and primevil.

i suppose theres a big difference between simply seeing a celeb , at a concert etc ,,,,,,,,,, and meeting/chatting with em

ive seen , lional blair , black lace , bad manners , michael bolton , sinita , dr n the medics lol ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, roy baraclough (alec gillroy coronation st , and over the garden fence drag act with les dawson) ,,,,,,,,,,,,, and a few weeks back at the expendables 2 red carpet , i seen arnie , sly , statham , van damme ,and dolp lundgren said hello to me , does that count as a meet lol ? , ,,,,and, erm the three degrees

the only celeb , i shook hands with , and apologised to lol ,,,,, was david soul ,,,,,,, i wasn't looking where i was going , and he was getting out of a car in london when i walked into the door , closing it back on him ,,,,,,,,,,,,, luckily he was all smiles

I've met a few celebs, mainly snooker players, my mate got me some tickets for a snooker tournament held at Willie Thornes, some top names showed up that day, Mark Williams, Judd Trump to name a few, Robert Milkins ended up winning it beating my mate in the final.

Its easy to forget how hard that game is, very impressive seeing it close up!

Willie Thorne walked into a classroom I was teaching in in Countesthorpe about 10 years ago. Random. Made a beeline for me as I was the only male member of staff, so I bet he thought I'd be the only one that would recognise him.
Also got Val Lehman's autograph years back when I met her on a car boot site of all things. Anybody remember her ?? Bea Smith of Prisoner Cell Block H.
Met quite a few celebs on the playing side of things....Rod Stewart, Divine Comedy, and one I'm not proud of - Chris de Burgh LOL when I was in the orchestra they were touring with.

Just finished reading the WT book, that man liked a bet, he was sat in a chinese restaurant with Dennis Taylor when John Parrot walks in with a face like thunder, he tells them someone has stole his cue, straight away Willie's mind is ticking away, lump on the other player (Ken Doherty) because Parrot has got to use a cue off the rack from the venue, Willie has £38,000 on Doherty and Parrot goes on to win without his own cue, and to make matters worse Willie was commentating on the match, no wonder he tried to top himself!
