Have Barcrest scrapped their in.gaming/interplay units?

Post by jeffvickers »

Can't seem to find any new Barcrest Digital units in pubs. Since Scientific Games/global draw took over operations, I gather they have given up on the pub sector totally. Even Juices appear to have disappeared from all the chain pubs (Green King & Marstons in particular.)
I can see Bell Fruit/QPS monopolising the pub sector. Wetherspoons are just full of new BFGs & QPS stuff. They have even got rid of their Gamestec igaming units.

So much for the digital revolution. The good 'ol BFG Eclipse cabinets are everywhere!

hopefully this time it'll teach the industry not to think that they know better.

Actually, I've noticed Spoons round here seem to be taking a huge interest in Alice in Wonderland and Al Murray machines...

Which sucks, because they're crap!

I never did see any of the Barcrest video units, were there many? The Gamestec units are all but gone, they have a couple that they keep sticking in different pubs then removing them just as quickly, guess the cashboxes aren't exactly overflowing lol.
