yes Astra have acquired Bellfruit, but have you a point of source to confirm Bellfruit will discontinue the building of analogue machines?

on bellfruits site. In regards to the takeover. I've just copied and pasted the bit I want to point out.
http://www.bellfruitgames.co.uk/news.htm ----first article, second paragraph down.

Each of the four ‘acquired’ companies will maintain their individual identities – being some of the most respected and iconic names in the UK gaming industry – and will conduct themselves with their existing staff and in a ‘business as normal’ manner.

Pretty sure I've read a statement somewhere from one of the higher ups in bellfruit/astra saying they will continue producing analogue awp's. If I can remember were I saw it i'll post it up.

I can name at least 10 Spoons that have got rid of their Gamestec digital unit and replaced it with a fruit.

So I really wouldn't lose sleep over it!

Wonder where they are hiding them all tho? According to Gamestec they are doing really well.
A whole million plays a week

I'm sure I seen somewhere that the manufacturers, suppliers etc can only ask for law/rule changes every 3 years. then the government will look into their idea's.

They defiantly want £100 jackpots but I don't think we'll be seeing them anytime soon.7

the 3 year thing has been discussed before on here.

Ah right. I must of not took much notice when these discussions were going on. I'm sure we will all cope no matter if it does go digital or higher jackpots. Some will cope better than others but you really don't no what the potential will be like until it happens.

Yes. IPub gets 1 million plays over a 2 week period whilst hit by professionals, and loses operators 1000's. Surely they're just trying to save face? These things have failure stamped all over them.

What was the largest cashpot anyone saw on their Megas/Golds etc? I don't think I even saw 30 quid tbh.

I saw a £70 once on a mega and decided to go for it purely for the novelty value. It's strange seeing the offer as the font is different.
