Buzzing Noise

Post by mrbell1984 »

Hello I have a Super Star Barcrest fruit machine but it buzzes when it's turned on. I did a check and I think it is the power supply but not 100% sure. Does anyone fix these things from the North East UK area?

Let me know what the problem could be and if it's possible if anyone can fix them.

Cheers

If it runs normally then it's probably just the power supply being itself and nothing to worry about.
My machine buzzes too as do most of them, you won't hear it in the arcade or anything due to background noise.

Machines usually buzz like said, you only notice it in quiet places.

ah I never knew this, it does work fine just buzzes when playing. I watched a few videos that are the same. I need to purchase a 10p / 20p stake key and a refill key, checked ebay but not sure what to purchase without wasting a lot of money. Any clues?

ebay special ,condition unknown and stored in garage £51 . bought it hime in the back of the motor ,the coin mech was rattling round in the machine and the coin hopper was loose. put all back how i thought it should go ,plugged in and it worked !!! ran for a couple of days with a nasty buzzing coming from the power supply ,which then packed up and took the main board out or the main board took the psu out, dont know which. the main board has corrosion around the main processor and the battery is flat ,just a chance the battery has spewed out and done the board.got another psu from ebay £20 and another epoch board £35 .machine now fine apart from going into freeplay but now been told that the bottom door being loose may have caused this. i will repair the psu later and try to clean the main board up,they may work

ah that is good work glad you got it working again, I am going to buy a new power supply to see if I can get the noise to go away or be more quiet. Doesn't cost much for a new Barcrest PSU.

You have been bugged! Don't have your discussions in the same room as the fruit!
