This is actually the mother of all posts.
The line between addicts and players in my opinion is a fine one.
Both will play fruit machines and both can win/lose with them. Its the decisions you make after that affects wether you cross into the addict side.
What do you do with your winnings?
Ill make an example.
Theres a guy around here who, to be fair, pretty much knows whats he's doing on extremes, and he can make money on them.
BUT
The money he wins is 100% garaunteed to go into the bookies or the local arcade into £5ers.
So picture this, he's leaving machines that could potentially be done by serious players dead, and the money he's winning is just going into the arcade/bookies.
Now if me or a serious player would win that money, it would go straight into the bank or to pay the bills! Not back into the industry which is what this twat is doing.
I once saw him sitting in the arcade for 2 hours (enough time for me to do Gold Strike, amongst other machines) with 5p credit in a Donna Kebab which he'd done his swede in, just so he could meet some1 to lend him money. And LOL even after a bit tempatation got to him he span that 5p off and had to get some1 to lend him 10p just to reserve the machine.
I have a vendetta against this guy as he went as far out to tell the owner of my local that I was using a key so that he could do them. If I see him in a pub, Im playing the ID card against him for his own good and mine.
NOw that is what makes the difference between a player and an addict yes? We'll all goto pubs to play the machines but its what we do with our winnings that counts.
Crosby, who I can say Is a very good friend of mine from school, will put that money to good use, a night out or something, thus not an addict. If I was to say he's only put that money in a machine to chase somit stupid, or do it down the bookies, that would make him an addict.

BUT
- He's only 16,
He goes around with a guy whose older, just to get into pubs
If he gets kicked out, he will be on the phone to his mate and hang around outside telling him what to do
Doesn't goto School
Plays Roulettes
Borrows money and is tight with giving it back

What a ridiculous comment, i am a member on this forum and i have a very well paid job and dont need to gamble at all, however i socially enjoy playing on fruit machines periodically. If i win i win, if i lose i lose.joe3_3 wrote:I'm who I am what a stupid question? Fair enough you say your not addicted but you also say you played every machine you saw on your way home so.....? Also i think if you play that much and you post on a website like this your in denial saying your not addicted?
I am by no means addicted to fruit machines and never will be, i post on here cos its a good laugh and also to get tips and share knowledge where possible :x :x
