ultimos were a head fuck, amazing how many people claimed to be able to empty revos/ba's yet how few actually could though....

Was emptying a BA in Clacton Magic City a few years back. Could be a right pain in the arse sometimes.

If you didn't know all the setups potential it was a nightmare but otherwise it was OK. Someone taught me it was good to not allow it to go on the board for a while to force a high step board - like 3 or 4 steps. I think on P1 Revolution it was red 7s but only from features or something. Used to love Ultimos and I did that 1 at Toddington a few times.

Only the 1st time I had a problem with a Battle Axe because I simply didn't know the setups like 5 nudges for nearest win jackpot setup, another 1 I think was 6 or more...so long ago now.

They weren't THAT difficult. The only reason certain players couldn't do them was if the person got into a strop at it taking a few quid back so tried pushing the board a bit too hard.

£5 1's would gamble from Hide N Seek to Locohold almost every time so all you have to do was line up the jackpot and gamble.
