Icons Again

Post by BFK »

Yup it's my twice per year post.

Icons tonight and ready on both. Icons went for £135 but each stake cost roughly £60-£70 for each one, so without the miracle would have been a pittance.

See you in June 2012.

Can't even remember the last time I had icons but here are a couple of good stories:

1. Dodgy shit hole, packed... went in to get a drink bar was rammed so I checked the Lep... £3 in last spin shows life so I go on the board and icons... thinking "Oh shit! Does it time out?" Got to the top before going to the bar and its streaking away, carries on...and on... and on... £185 in the bank and still not got a drink! Got the drink, 2 more tops - 1 from each stake bank auto paid above 200. Machine was banked for a ton, got paid from the till. Was OK that day but on future visits "Buy a PROPER drink!" and all that shit...

2. A pub I was barred from for keying Extremes (obviously some other prick had put it on top and everyone was being watched)... same manager 3 or 4 years later but didn't remember me... Stakes... Missed a wild getting £30...proper pissed off about it but 40 later icons drop and my 1st and only £210 streak. 2 more easy ones, £300 odd out of the machine, NOT AVAILABLE was lit after £100 out yet the whole lot came out, no one batted an eyelid.

Just thought I'd share those...takes my mind off YOU KNOW WHAT!!!! (If you don't, read the Hot Tip thread.... :x)

Had a few stop around the £10-£15 mark.

My DMT did the nice yellow bars, double melons, yellow bars etc, soon as u see cherries and lemons from the off, u know ur on to something shit!!!

I do like on electros how, it doesn't spin on until you've hit the start button. Nothing better than waiting a few seconds, bashing the start button, seeing the lights fly up and a nice tasty win spin in!! But it's the anticipation part I like, the will it? Won't it? moment!!

Rare as fuck, but nice!!

I love those shitty shitholes. You must understand, although they look dodgy from outside, the fact that you're walking in despite how shit it they look actually makes them think you must be a bit of a nutter because you're comfortable enough to walk in and order a drink... or you're just thick... also good, because then you can't be up to anything - just having a drink and pumping the fruit.

I agree with myself on this post. :D

True Lee, but I'd rather deal with one bloke than 20 coke heads all givin it 'look he's fleecing the machine' obviously if it's a miserable cunt of a landlord learn the shift patterns!!!

Always a way round such things!!
