Please need help, have an error!

Hi, thanks for taking the time to view my topic, the thing is that ive recently bought my 1st of many fruit machines and my Maygay Simpsons Beer Guide machine when is turned on at the wall blares out this alarm noise and tells me of a 4.8 ON/OFF TAMPER ALARM.
How do i fix this without it scaring me everytime i switch on the machine.

simply leave it a minute and it will time out.

So its not a bad thing, its just the alarm working? It goes away afer a few yeah but tels me its an error. Thanks mate, im looking to start a collection of machines and a mate of mine said i should join your forum.

I think if you power-cycle it when you've got credits on it or money in the bank the alarm will go off for a short time when it comes back on. It's just a security thing, nothing to worry about. You might even be able to disable it on one of the dip switches. If you've got a manual have a look at the switch settings.

nope still stuck, dont know how to even acess switch settings lol bit naive of me to just think it would work and never give me a problem lol
