I was playing a machine yesterday. It was a game that was the same named, or indeed very similar to what I played many years ago. It was a 30p one.
I was playing it for a while before it went "Hot ! Hot ! Hot..!" and the whole machine went red. Now I believed this to mean that I was now invincible, so I battered on with the odd high and low and taking care not to collect or do anything stupid. A few moments later I land on a '4' and high it. It lands on a '1.' Absolutely shell-shocked and gutted. The chances of me gaining that illusive £35 or more on the Mega Streak, or top feature were now gone. Why did it do this, and what did this thing that it did signify, then ?
I pumped another £150 or so in it after that, unfortunately. Terrible...
I used to like Gold Rush, and the 'magician' clone of it. A few quid to be made just by be sensible if needs be. I never liked it going Hot Hot Hot - never used to win anything on that type of board - couple of spins, knocked out, qestion mark, dead.
Right, so it wasn't a "Go all the way" or the like, then. That confirms it, thanks. It really seemed like it was the equivilent of that. It didn't take long to go dead - went to 8 quid, or something. Couldn't believe it. Thanks, folks.
Depends on what ur goin for. If u wanna recycle ur money and make it last then yeah collect the small wins, if u wanna go for the big money then sack all the wins off and go for Gold Rush red, which will do £35/£70 or £105.
The 'go all the way' on this machine is a flashing logo, or the silent one is spinning a 2 or 11 first spin(but u can die on this board for some reason) but it won't be far away from goin in if you do. Only take goldrush red unless it's an after board as a white one can repeat to silly amounts and kill it dead after. U can take £35 cashpots tho, these can also repeat to £70/£105.
