same number is generated whichever bookies you are in so doesnt matter. Just depends what visual you like

William Hills used to be the best but tbh they are all shit now. The only thing I put it down to is that the numbers playing them has dropped since their introduction. I always say if you're winning them some poor bastard is losing big in another shop.

i dont play any of them now as they became a joke and I had 10 visits of losing everytime. Before this I would say that the Tote was the worst and avoided it like the plague.

Numbers playing them has fallen - but annual reports show income to bookies has increased!!

They are paying out less due to william hill very poor online sales/profits for the last few years (read an online report somewhere a few weeks back)

so wh is now recouping the loss by using more machines and paying out less on those machines !!!!!

But if you press the "help" button on the machines, it states that there is a % payout.

The "arguement" is whether or not the stated % (approx 97) is actually what the punter is getting.

iv already stated that they lost money on the online betting and got this back on the machines ! FACT ! search it for yourself william hill released the facts!

There is nooo way these things are random! The only time you seem to win these days is if you bet very small stakes and look to make £20. There must be programming rules built into each machine to decide upon the number matching its desired payout.

Give me real casino roulette any day of the week. I just wish people would get the message about these horrid machines and stopped playing them. Doubt it will happen unless there is some radical changes to the gambling act by the tories. Then again, dont the Government receive over 30% of the profits made by bookmakers - no chance they will put steps in place to reduce their income.

May I direct you to my FOBT roulette is rigged (again) thread on the bookmakers forum? I love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next mikej82; well maybe not that much, but it's a good read and should help to stop us covering well worn ground. To summarise, it was looking good for the 'it's rigged' brigade until someone posted a summary of Ladbroke's FOBT takings for a financial year. The stats added up to imply that roulette would be giving a true house edge to the bookies. Perhpas this is all just cleverly manufactured propoganda to pull the wool over our eyes? Have a ganders and see what you think.

The ultimate word has to be hold, card, no wait, cold, hard common sense. Boring? Yes. Arguable? No.

Hey, even if they're not rigged, you're still onto a loser in the long run.
