jiggin in the riggin fault code

Good afternoon ,

Could somebody more in the know than myself please tell me what the following fault code means

hop pnd fault 1 , opt dirty/faulty

The machine is a global gaming "jigging in the rigging" and was working fine up until i turned it on this time, the machine initialises but no reels move etc before this fault code is shown.

Any help would be very gratefully recieved

Its the "ir" led light/eye which counts the coins out the hopper, its more likely just dirty, you need to remove the hopper motor to access it and give it a careful clean with a cotton bud

Wildcat you are a man genius :-) , thankyou so much , it took maybe 10 mins to fix and is running superb again .
