Royle Family Invite

Post by happycack »

Hi Folks,
I have a fab ‘royle family’ machine, which is left in my games room through the winter, which I’m sure, isn’t good for it. Anyway she wouldn’t fire up. Checked the psu and all outputs are reading fine. Output voltage on NiCad was only 1.2 volts after a 24-hour charge so bought and fitted a new one. Now after a day the output is 3.6 volts but still no initiation. I did notice some leakage behind the battery when I changed it and cleaned it up the best I could.
With the bonnet open and plugged in all I get are 4 out of 4 green lights and a red flashing light next to a bank of switches. Tried the red and green reset buttons but no go.
Failing all a wiring diagram would help and I’ll feel my way from there.
Thanks in advance.
p.s. sorry about the subject, I didn't get an invite either. :(

Yes its plugged in. Must admit there are two female banks it can plug in, I think it was the right hand side of the two but I have tried it on both anyway.
