Normal roulette in a casino - no spin is related to another. The odds you bet at, are against you, ie the house advantage.

FOBT's have a memory and it has to meet it's percentage in a certain period of time, this replicates the casino house advantage. Ask any terminal engineer or even the companies who make them. Therefore the way you bet and play on FOBT could influence if you win or not which in my eyes, is not truly random.

Isn't the law that numbers are requested by the server in the shop to Global Draw Limited and the random number sent back. They have no "memory" as such. Don't know why, but have seen losing and winning runs that are millions to one against far too often.

If it happens all the time, why not make a complaint to whatever regulatory body monitors these terminals and then sue William Hills / Ladbrokes when the results are proven to back up your assertation ? You'd be doing many poor addicted people a favour, a true benefit to society.

That's right.. because you all know it doesn't really happen all the time. It's that you remember sequences that you recognise as a pattern, just as a spread of non-related numbers sinks into obscurity in the mind.

I've spent a _load_ of time in casinos over the years, and seen all the strange patterns of blacks/reds/repeats that I care to remember. Seen a number land 5 times on the trot twice so far. Seen 0,1,2,3,4,5 come in. Seen 16,17,18,16,17,18 before. On blackjack i've seen someone split aces to 14 hands.

If you watch something enough that is random, you'll soon see patterns.

Just for instance say, could a casino table go a million quid behind with maximum 100 stake? Well yes it could, but the odds would be massive - but still statisically possible, ie you could put a figure on it. I don't like agreeing with people 100%, it pains me to do it but when I do, I say so. Redlinesman, I agree with you 100%. You always get the feeling when you're up on these or on your way back up from being raped for a couple of grand, that you're just getting "sympathy pay" or just plain percentage. If you win a lot, you can be sure its because someone before you that did their nuts - perhaps not immediately before you but they don't JUST PAY OUT! It may have taken non-stop for weeks but somewhere down the line, SOMEONE has already paid for the little winning streak you're having when you're winning. The same can't be said for live casinos! You can't go to a table where some over-loaded Saudi has don't a few oil barrels' worth and walked off and expect to win his money back with your couple of hundred. This is obviously common sense. I think a lot of us actually play these thinking we are better than the average puntee at playing anything and we know how to win decent money if the machine is in fact in "paying mode".

It would be highly complex to develop a chip for one of these to pay out by percentage than I care to imagine. Are people really suggesting that if it is "ready" I will still get my streak if I bet on zero all day and night for months on end?

tell you what , i go london , once or twice every week now , ,,,,,,,, will be there this thursday with martal ,,,,,,,,,, wanna meet up ,,,,,,, i'll bet you £50 right now , witnessed on here , that we wont have to check more than say 20 terminals to see a 4 out of 10 last history.
