yep , full stand up arcade machine twin joystick cab

only when you open the coin mech , you see the pc under the monitor ,

it has an enter credit button , a 1player button , a 2player button

and 3 game specific action buttons per player.

which means obviously , you cant do every move on street fighter , which had 6 action buttons .

and you cant play ikari warriors correctly , because the original had sort of paddle rotating joysticks .

things like operation wolf/thunderbolt work by moving the crosshairs with the joystick ,,,,, not as good as with the originals uzi gun mount.

but other than a few hardware specific examples like above ,,,,,,,,,, everything else is perfect .

double dragon and shinobi are two of my personal faves ,,,,,,,, along with phoenix , dragonninja , kung fu master , green beret , strider , ghosts n goblins , final fight , r type , outrun, golden axe ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and theres literally hundreds of beat em ups , vertical and side scrolling shooters , football , racing car , platform etc ,,,,,,, many of which probably never graced these shores back in the day.

seriously folks , get one .

the only games not present , are the laser disc games ,( different tech i suppose ) , so no dragon's lair , space ace , mad dog mgree etc

dont think about it , buy one , you'll never regret it and never get bored.

Wonderboy... Forgot about that, great game. They had it wedged between Nemesis and Gauntlet in my local arcade years ago. Opposite paperboy, another classic.

Lee, remember the Gameboy? There was a dodgy japanese games cartridge you could slot in which had over 200 games crammed onto it. Some of the games were classic titles, others were in japanese so you didn't know what it was, so you'd spend hours going through them all. Some were good others were like being in a bad dream.

California Games and Scrapyard Dog on the Atari Lynx were immense.

Still got a Lynx (mk2)

in the carry case and about 25 games
blue lightning
road blasters
california games (how many 360s can you get on sufing in one go lol)
Batman
slimeworld
paperboy
and aload of others

even still got an Atari 1040ST rigged up in my bedroom with Ikari warriors and Operation wolf and Hard Drivin and Test Drive i ii iii
and wonderboy about 200 games for it putting it short lol

go to the back of Mannings and you will see the old school Simpsons arcade game everytime I hear that machine It reminds me of the old pier in hunstanton when the had a £15jp over 18s section with a Eliminator clone and that Shooting game Right at the back that when you shot the targets, different things happened the best would be the one that made the bloke stand up and fire water, back in the day eh

yes rich , there's always been bootleg carts for nintendo handheld's ,,,gameboy and gameboy advance are everywhere if you know where to look ,,,,,, people bring em over from thailand and sell em here on sunday markets etc,,,,,

,,,, whilst on holiday in turky and bulgaria , there were hundreds of shops selling bootleg ds carts , advertised with the words 200 in 1 mega ds carts ,,,,,,,,,, i tried one in the shop , and it was more like 40 games with 160 revisions lol ,,,,,,,, but still good , with a bit of bartering i paid around 50 quid for 2 for my sisters kids.

the carts themselves even have micro sd memory card slots on em , so if you know the right pirate sites online , i suppose you can download more.

i dont own a ds myself ,,,,,,,,, just the mame arcade machine , two ps3's , a psp , a megadrive and a cbm 64,,,,,,,,,,, luckily my first ps3 i bought at launch was the original 60 gig model , so it plays all the ps2 and ps1 games aswell....

the new 3ds should be with us in the first quarter of next year ,,,,,,,,,, gotta try that out ,,,, 3d without glasses.
