ok ,,,,,, if it isn't no 7
here's my final guess ,,,,,,,,,, and i think im right with this one
could it be along the line of casino style gambling in pubs ?
already a pub i know in sutton colfield has a two player sit down rectangular table top videoscreen texas poker game . ,,,,,,, its currently only a quid to play , with nothing to win , but you do get a long game for ya money
wouldn't be hard to make a circular 6 player version ,,,,,,,,,,,, and allow them the maximum stake game the government would allow , both for single player ,,,,, and multiplayer
even have internet games against any other pubs ,,,,,,,,, with local , regional , and national tournys
this will surely happen soon ,,,,,,,,,, given the popularity of the game ,,,,,,, and with the lenth of time people will be in the pub playing , will have the necessary knock on effect to revitalise the dying pub trade.
the manufacturer's will be able to charge the pubs extortionate annual licence fee's too ,
because pubs that arn't in the loop will simply die
the death of the fruit machine ,,,,,,,,,,,, and all its related problems ,(breakdowns , tooling , ,,, and us) will be inevitable .
lee
ps , manu's ,,,,,,,, if erm you haven't already thought of this idea ??? and are now going to do this ,,,,,,,,, erm,,,,, bugger ,,,,,, erm ,,,,,,, any chance of a small annual royalty ???? :P

Sounds like we are on the same wavelength here.Been-Grant-Mitchell'd! wrote:I have a couple of contacts in the supplier side of the game, and to be fair to Redlinesman, I have also been assured that what we've got accustomed to in the pub sector WILL be drastically transformed.
Trayhop, your going down the right path with the first point you made, it's not exactly what you say but it does in some way reflect this.
