Fruits U Sir was one that did this. It used to really wind my mate up as those first 6 or 7 coins were never coming back! The only way round it was to get on off the first couple of quid and collect anything, that would stop it dropping unless it was genuinely down the back.

Well, according to our contact, the owner blatantly admitted to the fact that he has done summat to it to make it play really bad, so the only thing that springs to mind to me is a hooky percentage key.

In your first post you state that the bloke told you he had put a dodgy % key in it, now you are merely suggesting it. Which is it? Some clarification would be useful.

Hardly a brain out is it?

So a red played up a bit, had it loads of times.

But it shouldn't be in a kebab shop tho.

sounds like he's taken the fixed key out and put a variable one set on the lowest setting..

reds are barcrest mpu5? they alarm at anything attempted below 70 percent, theres a way of getting 69 i think with the +/- 1percent from a dip switch but anything 'dodgy' stops the machine booting up.. its fully advertised to do this for security reasons and is built in to the board. it cant and wont process lower TARGET percentages..

i have been in a kebab house that used to reguarly £2 bar their own machine though meaning it was totally dead at all times..

gaming machines are banned, but probably 1 out of the 10 locations that used to site still do

that pub probably wouldnt have shut because of siting a dodgy fruit machine, if they're that dodgy they were probably doing other scams..

Do Red RAM resets cause them to play shit?
Mr McStreak

Post by Mr McStreak »

I've played several over the years that have reset to red 7's on a 12 (a la JPM) and they have all played terribly. One in particular, a lifes a beach, was red the night before but when I went back it was reset and I lost heavily on it. JPM used to ram clear and be massively in front, Maygays used to start at zero and suck like fuck to establish its target.

Basicly when it went for a £60 top last week he was asked if it was now "fixed again" and he replied it is now playing how it should. But last month no one had a chance but "that" wont happen again for a "while" so he done something to it??????

and yes its in a Kebab shop some of you may already know it

To be fair, if you played a legal tender or pulsation in a kebab shop you probably deserve all you got!
Bored of the grind.

I totally agree. You'd have to be both naive and stupid to expect nefarious characters such as kebab shop owners siting machines illegally to throw straight dice.
