hmm, some good replies to my post there..
none to do with the buying and testing of latest machines...
also, programmers get stuff wrong ALL THE TIME
putting something in deliberately wouldnt be to difficult.. after all, the best tricks have been errors with excuses on both sides...
older tricks had no suspicions, the tricks recently have just been semi-player friendlyness... skill features left in for months, and then chips to stop them coming... technical/knowledgable usage of bonus's to advance to a higher square, just to be chipped out, acceptable mistakes remidied by the person who programmed the machine in the first place..
also, i dont think you'll find anyone at many of the reglass/copy-and-paste departments of any of the major companies that are happy with their wage..
empties, PROPER empties, not just buzzing something that will pay extra with a push,
over the years, there've been silly little things, not turning off IM modes (hmm, repeated recently i believe), copy and paste a sequence to the wrong place to make the lights flash a bit, but forgetting to take out the nudge function...
emptiers, rips, ANYthing can be excused, human error... totally niave if you believe otherwise...
do you reckon you'd get sacked from a software company for fucking up a program? ive forgotten more cheats in computer games than i can ever remember, my computer gets updated every other day for one thing or another, my mobile phone gets updates... programmers just patch after patch after patch..
same with machines, cause know fucker cares... as long as they take a couple of hundred bulbs, few boards of wood, and a bit of plastic and sell them for £4500 every now and again, then all is good....
also, EVERY company that makes machines, CHARGES for the update files....

The buying n testing of fruitys happen at the top level. It's the standard procedure when things dry out I'm sure. Only a group of organised experienced proplayers will go to that length and make it work. The ones that don't sell tricks, have a big gob, do their mates machines behind their back that kind of thing. Relationship built on trust n fairness goes the distance.
