It's weird, the £15 pot was tiny in comparison but they would just save jackpot after jackpot if played poorly, fortunately the vast majority were. Funnily enough I think the bubble burst on JPM's when people started telling anyone and everyone about numbers on five liners!

These days machines don't imo get anywhere near as much play, but the higher jackpot seems to compensate for it. You only need a few good things tucked away on any given day and you can be fairly sure of turning a decent profit.

Arcadia in Colchester Showboat was usually there for 3 or 4 jackpots after a few days. Was a good 40 profit which was considered great in those days! The Casino 5 Liner was usually there for 1 or 2, probably easier to play for the casual punters.

Card Shark in the bookie near Playhouse was always ready. Sometimes with the repeat there, it was a good profit. Golden Dragon in the bookie on the main street aswell.

Good old days!!!

It doesn't make a blind bit of difference if someones wants to get into the game they will, what people dont realise is a lot of players are lazy, its all about keeping on top of your machines, end of.
