The first machine(s) you played?
The old days jpm rocked use to love them all in the token days, allways had a special place for 8 pound roller coaster. Also use to like the original simpsons 6 pound tokes great sound effects and also for great sounds the big breakfast. Games were fun then now everygame is a clone and hilo up a trail, the same skill from red arrow over and over again on the + side though loads more dough now
That shite Tomb Raider machine must have been the beginning of the end for JPM. The novelty pint holder never quite caught on though.
I started in '99 and I think the first machine I may have played was a Barcrest machine called Up & Over, or summat like that. This was replaced by either PCB or Frenzy, followed by the first machine I really got my teeth into and went out of my way looking for - Trailblazer by Impulse.
An independent arcade close by (which is still open) had Fruit Explosion, £8jp Cops and Robbers and a great little machine called Big Breakfast. It still has the FE too!!!
Good thread OP. I often reminisce about the good 'ole days of playable machines whilst sifting through the trash on Teabay.

What ho! Does everyone remember "Add a note"? Hands up if you do. That my chums, was my first every AWP related experience. Then you have Impulse, a great manufacturer of fruit machines, almost as good as Games Warehouse but not quite. Then there was a cheat for "Nudge Double Up", simply spit water down the slot and free credits much to my amusement.

JPM Pulsar games were crap! I also didn't like anything at all that rolled in JP as that was really the only way to top em in most cases.
I remember original Maygay Simpsons, but last time I went on, it rolled a 5 first off for SACKED, then next board a 2 for ADVANCE 3. Sacked. Then got arrested. Same as sacked really. But Itchy and Scratchy could do JP when they wanted, so it was never a bad game.
