trayhop the majority of people in bookies do not have a choice as they are addicted and therefore cannot help but gamble. gambling is like a drug in that it activates the same reward pathways that drugs do - producing the feel good chemicals that make it so addictive..

Its like comparing it to crack or heroin addicts. they dont have a choice but to to rob in order to get there next fix. and unfortunately some people do not have a choice as they are completely hooked on gambling.

the bookies will always win at the end of the day because the odds are always in there favour (as has been mentioned in the "cheating betfred" article. Spell ladbrokes backwards and what do you get? The measley sums of money they gave the people that helped is a crying shame and i would have laughed in their faces if they had got robbed.

i agree its unfair on the woman who works there. im guessing morals aside she may have found it hard to have got another job other than in the bookies especially in the climate were in. but my point is that i have no sympathy for ladbrokes whatsoever.
