Playable on Lowestoft Pier a few years ago had DR inscribed on it. Think it was a Vivid.

Iv seen D.R on a few fruit 1 was a dial in Clacton. But iv not seen any for a wile, he's must of given up gambling.

i know who this is he use to do it years ago on good machines so he knew them when they turned up somewhere else

I think it would be a lot more simple just to look what the machine was called. Scraching D.R in it just means he's played it before, not that it's a good fruit.

I used to use skeleton keys to break in and etch 'JG' onto the EPROMs. That way, if a machine turned up somewhere, I'd know instantly if it had been rechipped.

afaik it used to be one person but now i believe there are several culprits marking DR into machines althought the last i came across was a darts or something similer
