I can never be bothered to play phones on GATW. Always go for the streak boxes/phones/whatever this clone has.DJJamesMtn wrote:Nothing interesting. Fed a Big Deal about £35, kept CoBbing a bust, then suddenly did a GATW with about £5 to go.
No Dealt down to the MS and it was flat £70.
Tsssk discipline....OR aka Is that DOND worth a board?
you ought to, cause theres at least one that doesnt have an alternative to the top box on the dond feature...Shaggerty wrote:I can never be bothered to play phones on GATW. This doesnt happen on some clones though, Hof springs to mind.DJJamesMtn wrote:Whenever I've had GATW on BD/CS/BTB it turns all values to £70, and offers you the phones board.
Every offer is £70... but if you literally No Deal to the end, you'll have MS in your box. Every time it's happened to me though it's been a flat £70.
Tbh i play all DOND except think red etc..
Has there been a rechip for LP DOND? The reason i say these have gone fucking tight as fuck.
Had one redlining everyboard five times on the trot, shit values so was expecting a biggen or cash or bust value. It swallowed over a ton for two £40's boxes, tried for a last board which cost £17 cash or bust was D0ND for the £70. Roughly £30 up.
Never had one play so dodgy, it was make or break in the end after a flying start.

Cap'n Tatty's Lost Army of DONDers(Written in the style of a fantasy sci Fi battle)
Ah, so revenge is sweet? I hope so. I was in a locale, and my chun wanted me to gamble for him because he didn't really have much idea what was going on. I informed him of the Star Wars themed machines and the Bullseye and such, however down in the alley we were in for a shock!
It seems that THE ENEMY is back for another take. That is what it had in mind anyway. Unperturbed, we were up for a jolly good fisticuffs with the brute. Pound coins were at arms, and the command was given, to start the attack.
For those who didn't know, THE ENEMY is called "Big Deal" and it has a £70 Jackpot, however this is only a myth and in many sects, the jackpot is believed to be £4. The weak spot is on Noel's privates, but these are usually protected behind a large black phone so it is not the main point of attack.
So the troops advanced. The reels were spinning in non matching figures to put us off our way. However, after 6 pounds in, something dropped. We had located a board. It's roughly the same scenario as last time, however the infiltration stage seemed to have gone more smoothly this time. The cash was building up, and so were the features. It seemed that THE ENEMY had armed its shields at the 4 pounds point, as we couldnt get past it. Luckily we had our heat seeking COBBER Missiles, however, the 2nd in command known only as BANKER had lit a hot furnace at £4, which meant our guided missles would land at this point guaranteed. Then the crunch time came in the form of a mystery. It seemed once again, we had been beaten, as we had the choice of £4 or the equivalent game, or to be forced into the trench for another costly climb. Still, we launched our COBBERS, knowing that even though we would get £4, we might waste the valued electrics supplies of THE ENEMY.
To give credit, THE ENEMY relies on its electrics from lemons, as seen before. That's why there are plenty of them on the reels. Economical, I guess everyone has to move forward with sustainable living.
So we retreated with some more gold Power Stones to try and launch another attack. We had lost the battle. 1-0 to THE ENEMY. However the commander did not utter retreat. Instead, those magic words "OK I WILL TRY FOR ANOTHER BOARRDDDD!!!" I notified him that at this point in time, saying "ATTTAAAAAAACCCKKKK!" might have suited the situation more and saved him some breath.
Luckily, some strategy and the luck of a Roll-in tank had meant the next board had only lost us two Power Stones. Round and round we went. however we could not find a way in once again. THE ENEMY had blocked the way with a mystery weapon with little for us to go on. The instructions were uttered again, and the Cobbers were launched. Cap'n Tattybojangles was in command of the button, and missles launched.....
.................
........................
Target hit! The missles had damaged the Winstepper region of THE ENEMY's base. Unfortunately, it wasn't damaged to Red Alert status, but during the onslaught and looting while they tried repairing the damaged station, they lost 46 Power Stones.
After this, it had us on the run. THE ENEMY tried to advance on our troops to regain what it owned in the past, however, after one more failed attack, the RETREAT!!! was shouted, and we did. THE ENEMY put up a feeble chase, seeing as it doesn't move.
Once again, we thought we were beaten, but courage reigned supreme!
