Casino 5 Liner

Post by aferg01 »

Just had this in my local.
Lumped £100 in playing £1 play and could only managed to get £45 out. Pointless playing 50p play because you have to get the jokers on the winline, and it's hard enough trying to get 3,4 or 5 of them in view.
A very horrible, horrible machine IMO.

Some of the top boys will be on later enquiring for hints and tips as to how you got back as much as £45 from £100.

Nope, unless it's on 92% in an arcade, you're in for a pasting on that beast. It could have been much better, but they tried to be too clever and make you collect lots of pointless wins to increase cash throughput, hence box takings. I don't think people of any playing level have really taken to this game for that reason.

A red cash amount on the feature that is a repeater, is a guaranteed one repeat. Also watch out for AHEM skill picks on each level. That is, if you ever play this evil machine again.

This machine just pays it's percentage through the form of loads of small and frequent wins, I have taken them on in the past,, I swear there are no good signs on these apart from the blatent show.. I stopped playing them after one terrible punt..... 210 in for a 70....

They are dreadful, and after taking a 110 and 53 loss within 3 days on 2 different ones a while back, i vowed to never play one again. I haven't, and won't.

Same here I never touch em
Had a £210 for £70 back and a £160 for £70 back

No reason at all to playing them
And forget the quick board and off thinking
I tried it, and it cost me £27 for £3 disgusting

I never see normal punters playing em either

A shit game and a shit concept, i've never seen one being punted, who would be even interested in one anyway? These will vanish sooner rather than later, the cash box never lies!!!

Not this time bud....with no obvious read and no real tell of top cost apart from the blaringly obvious, i'd rather give noel a ton for some hopeful returns!

Damn you proper players and your top boy clues, not faffing around in the gutter like the rest of us still trying our £6.60s in purple cabinets and checking out kebab outlets for working coconut shys.

So there's a method on this...but what could it be? Time to don my pipe and deerstalker.

You say it's like the Hokey Cokey.

Now there's the lyrics to hokey cokey to examine and the old ASTRA game, Hokey Cokey, which was a reglass of Party wotsit with stupendously tiny buttons fresh from Vegas.

You put your left arm in, your left arm out,
In! Out! In! Out!
Shake it all about,
You do the Hokey Cokey and you turn around,
That's what it's all about!

Oi!

Whoaaa Hokey Cokey okey! Wheeeee! Okey Pokey Okey! Hooooooo! Okey! Yokey dokey! Hokey pokey OI! OI! OI!

Knees bent
Arms stretched
RAH RAH RAH

The do the same again, but this time, use your right arm.
Then it's your left leg....so do it all again, but with the left leg
Then err, hold on, what's left? That's right, the right leg, repeat.

Then it's your whole self in out in out.

I can't quite see the whole method, but knees bent, arms stretched is when the Rozzers catch up with you and search you.

Casino 5 liner - uggh. My own experiences with this machine are similar to the others here - except I once got 50GBP out for a tenner in. And I once got 40GBP back for 50GBP in... so possibly better stats than some have achieved.

Like other players, I don't rate this machine well. Give me a high hit frequency machine instead, that at least will enable me to sustain game play for a while without too many tears... as long as it's set to a good percentage (88% - 92%). Avoid any pub versions - they're bound to be around that horrible 70% minimum...
