This has appeared on a box near me. I like it more than I did when I visited GWHL, I think - nice graphics, and looked fairly generous on the box I played it (gave a double prize bonus and let me have a decent-ish prize, albeit with one or two good answers on my part). The bonus games are a bit tiresome, but maybe I'll get used to them. All in all, this isn't a bad add, although disappointed that T&F has gone.

I am sure you will all be much relieved to hear that I have sorted out my issues with the motorcycle game and can now get further than 110m.

However, I was just wondering what range of prizes people had got on the suitcase bonus. I had previously thought it was a guaranteed £4 or £5, but tonight I ended up with 30p.

I've had a 40p from that case as well. Obviously there's a reason for the left hand case being a £1.

Can anybody do that balloon game?

I've barely touched a machine in 15 years (though I enjoy lurking here as a one-time player), but had a go at this when I was out in Oxford recently. I thought the "open the box" thing must be a guaranteed gimme, as it gave me a random, i.e. pretty much unearned, £8 the first time I got it...and 20 pence yesterday, which was such a calculated insult I laughed out loud.

Don't know if it's been mentioned, incidentally, but along the way I was able to demonstrate my knowledge that the trophy Hudderfsield Town won in 1922 wasn't the Istenem Cup.

w00t. go, me :) . the istenem pan is a good trophy too.

i like this game and i think there is enough about it to make it playable for your man in the pub.

i have not had much time lately but when i have got to the pub, this is a title i enjoy. on the suitcase/bonus suspects i've only had three so far: £8, £6 and £10 but i look forward to a derisory offer of 6p or whatever; that would make me smile. moderate success in the main game: a few £3-£8 prizes which is good enough for me. i haven't yet had the cojones to get to the end.
nobody ever wins on those things.

You may well see a few more Fruitchat related questions / answers in the near future... ;)

Had the easy questions bonus on one tonight, and first cash was round 6 for £3, got to round 5, and opened the suitcase (£1, gambled to 50p) then the easy questions were gone.

Seemed a bit rigged considering I had plenty bonuses and would have won round 6 for the cash easily if the bonus hadn't dissapeared.

Does it always dissapear after round 5, or did is stop because I got the suitcases?

Bit miffed, but otherwise enjoyable game

In my experience, the easy questions bonus always disappears when you get to the cash round. It is a bit rigged in that it gives the appearance that you'll get ALL easy questions to the end... but its normally relatively easy to get whatever cash is available in the first cash round. Which whenevetr i play it seems to be £1. Which can get annoying after a while! £3 seems reasonable though :)

Why's that? Have you got the emptier or are you just a fan of the bicycle/elephant/khaki/Parisian graphics with mini games?
