I was drawn into this game initially on purely nostalgic reasons evoking memories of when i actually used to win thousands of pounds on these things - collective sigh from many on here

Not expecting much i played away and soon started earning a decent amount via a steady stream of 5 and 10 pound wins whilst trying to understand the relationship between the 3 payout possibilities. It seemed that they were reasonably linked in that if the tenner wasn't happening then the fiver was still on and occasionally i managed both which led me to wonder about seperate pots.
Then began the quest for the magical £50. Now i managed to get to the stage where i could regularly accrue 7 or 8 crystals ( only on gamesnets mind, jesus the itbox touchscreen is atrocious) and so all i needed was a net score of 70 for some serious cash. oh a 68 , so close, then a 69, another 69, surely just a matter of time? i've now lost count of my incredible ability to score 69 tokens and watched in amazement when i know i've put in a particularly silver free performance only to see the silver count suddenly shoot up at the end to leave me one short once again.
And so to todays fiasco. Playing on an itbox where crystals are much harder to accumulate i was playing for £10.i kept getting around 3-5 crystals about 5 games running and always scored between 57 and 59 ( 60 needed). on my 7th pound i got 7 crystals and leisurely prodded away in the sure fire certainty that i'd been much more careful than before and the money was in the bag. total score - 48!! there were just as many golds as before but suddenly my silver score had tripled despite having much longer to avoid them.
This pattern has repeated itself way too often for my liking and something seems seriously amiss.
I guess the experience of others would be most useful in helping me to come to some conclusions about this ( remember i'm the one who argued that dond endgame wasn't necessarily rigged!!

thanks for bearing with me on this rant but something really stinks about the apparent skill of the endgame here.
