QUIZZICALITIES (I think that was the spelling) appeared on one of our Town centre pubs Gamesnet last night. Over 700 points. Unheard of in the cultural backwater that is Grimsby.....
i still have one word UP left and it is cherished as a sacred relic.
i don't dare clear the board in case it gets removed for something disappointing. but i do keep an eye on it; the landlord is often playing it when i walk by late for work.
this terminal belongs in a museum but Word Up (as was) embodies all that can be good in a word game: simple but tricky, frustrating but enjoyable. however, more than anything, it is edifying.
soup might be edificational (which scores more in numbers) but it is not a word. it can never be a word.
good idea Your Eminence, but i will wait until the next time i am sloshed in front of a computer (sunday) so i can be less coherent.
i should be banned from posting on here after midnight. ops:
QIS is rejected by the generally current version. Maybe you had QAIMAQAM on the preceding version which accepted QIS. I definitely wasn't imagining it It still takes QAT, of course, and also QIVIUT, iirc. Not sure about QOPH, haven't played that for a while.
