Had same on STC after a 105 (was 95 in mind), took red Cash Seeker (i.e. find the pea), values £3, £4, £25 :D

From my experiences of the 'roll-in' board straight after a top, it 'tends' to be of £25 value. I found this out by a costly few losses though (or at least profit-minimalisations!) mainly on SMTMs. Frequently I had it roll straight back in after a £70/£105 (next credit) to bomb out on the £25. Then each board after has gotten progressively worse - blocking at £15 then £10 then nothing. Then, after about £25 has gone in, a flat top will come in easyish - dead after. Since learn't to take the bonus £25 and leave if this scenario happens.

So, £70/£105, board next credit - take the £25! ;) The amount of times I gambled it and wished I hadn't lol. Guess this is Red applying their 'if you see it red, do you think you'll win more?' 'adjustment'...

Erm, not that this is entirely relevant to HLSs though, as I've never had a board next credit from one yet...

In theory, a bonus board (after a £70/£105 top) could gamble to the top again. Taking £25 is definitely a wise move though.

Say if you were playing Red Alert for example. You got jackpot from Firemans Lift. Next credit rolls in ? and puts you back on the feature. That board can gamble back up to Firemans Lift again. Seen it before on this machine and similar on Red Arrow.

Not sure if this applies with modern Reds as I have never seen a £70/£105 top then a bonus board which gambles back to the top again.

They can do it with £15 roll ins too. Gamble it and it loses, and never to return again!

I had it on a Lucky Devil after a £35/£70, snatched the £15.

Very true - I'd say that the £15 is more likely than the £25 actually - grab it and run! (Doesn't count after one flat top of course!) ;)

Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing ..

Having gone to £50 on the next credit, I'd have bashed it lower too.

I still don't think I've got an answer here.....

1) OK so u get on a red hi lo and it starts redding after say £30. Then say it costs u about exactly £70 for a flat £70 do u carry on? Or venture back and hope for a quicker / bigger top next time?

2) It's all red from the start and u get £70 from £40. Do u carry on?

Only got the 1 red £70er my way. Seems to be just the same profile as a £35er only guaranteed £70 top.
Full and pretty red at the start, cost £50 for a flat £70, still red board after, rechase for another £46 back in for another flat £70 top then stone.

Well just have another board. Had £70 on STC, next board STC open and up to £24....rechase and it goes £105. £175 out for £60 in, so it can be there for more. Most of the time they will just go flat and dead though, but i prefer them this way as they ready up more quickly. 8)
