Big top
Played my first 70jp today. It was Double Decker (party time). It was on 50p play still and on the reel you could win a quid, a fiver or 15 quid. Anyway, i got a fiver and got on the board. To cut a long story short, i got a top of £197. I then put a fiver in the second one and got a quid on the reels and got a board for £70. Not bad. Guy on the 3rd one though had put on well over £200 with sod all return. I would rather chance my quid on a 500jp machine.

Anyhow I'll second that.
£197?!? Maximum top on these on £35 jackpot was £2. So I should imagine the new maximum top is £4. You need to be 55 or older to get the bigger tops, so I assume you are no spring chicken or illegally lucky.
£1/£5/£15? £15? What symbol awards £15? I imagine £1 for XXX, £5 for BBB and now £15 for some bizarre mystery symbol, maybe a centurion's head or a crystal ball or something. Then £70 for jackpot surely?
I would rather chance my £1 on a £5 Flashback that is full, on 94% payout, has just taken £30ish over the back on a brute force, and hasn't boarded for a fiver and has been giving steppa, big shot and mystery nudge off bonus for the past few tenners.

It was a £70jp and it was on 50p play. A quid for xxx, bars a fiver and three swag bag type symbles were £15. You could only get the £70 from the feature board JP symbols. It's just been changed from the £35 jp one. There are many different upgrades out there for lo-tech machines, this being one of them. Still, for 50p a go it's not too bad.
My first experiences round central london ;-
Hi-Lo - Full, although i suspect a refill, Played on £1 spin which sometimes offers you an extra life and show next number . Tenner in - managed to get the all red board - with £15 in the cash pot...£90 later Got the top which gave a flat (Surprise) £70... Recycled 35 of that to get another top for 70, came away 15 up - and well, i guess lucky.
Deal wheel - 5 quid in - first board gave a GATW, so came off sharply
.
Italian Job - about 70 quid in most offered £15 of STNW, COB all low blue values - waste of space. Didnt bother trying to force\chase, just left... Happy to accept the loss... Boards were infrequent - sometimes costing £10..
Saw someone else force a DOND for a mega streak which paid out wait for it £105....
Dont think we are going to see any £210 tops for a while. Manuf's have been lazy with quick software mods to "get the change out there".
Another few months and it'll be there for sure.

no nudge setup rip for 70 on the reels then :x ,still, well done with the 197.
we've just got a reelking gold edition
70 jpt ,states random ,yawn.
what i've immediately noticed is the ammount of 4 dings it does, now now,i'm not trying to take the piss this time.it 4 dings a helluva lot ,you don't get your 1 ding 2 ding or 3 dings very often at all ,it's 4 dinging as often as the 1s ,2s and 3s put together,it does't 5 ding very much either
. now i'm not one to be cynical of manufacturers' ploys to get their cack to take more spondoolicks but i detect a bit of unfairness directed at old aged pensioners and b3 addicts here as they will invariably think that the ding streak is imminent.
another thing,if you are lucky enough to actually get a 5 dinger ,you may be rewarded with eff all off the very likely single curtain, yep,i had it spin diddly squat off the first spin ,it still awards you 1 pound sterling for this though.
the double or nothing gamble seems quite fair on this, a few times i doubled up to 20 ish quid from pennies ,i can see this doing quite well for agc's frequented by aromatic oldies.

low blue and £70 left - £33.35 offered. Nice. Surely that should be £50+?!
